Kanchana Raman founded Avion Systems in 1996 and has built an organization with extensive knowledge of the telecommunications and technology industry.
With a focus on excellence in both customer and employee satisfaction, Kanchana has grown the organization at an enviable rate. With the constant need to adapt to evolving market forces, Kanchana has spear-headed the company's expansion globally from simple project staffing to innovative turnkey solutions in telecommunications and technology.
Kanchana was selected to represent three US delegations to S. Africa, S. America, UK. The mission involved meeting and advising minority and women entrepreneurs on growth within the region and globally. Kanchana chairs several board positions. The Georgia Women's Business Council representing Georgia on the National Leadership forum for WBENC, the Women’s Leadership Enterprise (WLE)
, Ambassador for WeConnect to certify women entrepreneurs globally, Emory University Board serving as Ambassador for Emory’s innovation in Health care and advanced academics, and TiE Atlanta to foster Entrepreneurship . In 2010, Kanchana has been selected by AT&T to be part of a 25 member AT&T Women Entrepreneurs’ Forum. The forum will serve the emerging communications technology needs of U.S. businesses and help drive continued innovation and growth for AT&T.
Kanchana holds an MBA from Goizueta Business School, Emory University to augment her broad experience in telecommunications and technology, which spans over 18 years. Her continuing education focus has been in executive management, attending programs at Tuck Business School, Dartmouth, Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern.
Bill Loughman CFO & COO
With over 25 years of operations and financial experience in the Telecom,Media and Technology industries
Bill joined Avion in September 2011 at the Chief Financial Officer and Cheif Operating Officer.
Prior to joining Avion Bill held the position as Managing Director of Wave Management a financial and
operations consulting firm that provided management services to telecom and technology companies based in the U.S and Caribbean
Bill was previously a partner with Tatum LLC a leading U.S consulting firm where his engagements
included the position as the CFO of a $100 million products company and the CFO/CEO of a public technology company.
He also held various financial and operations positions with AirGate PCS, o@ Wireless Solutions, AT&T, Motorola, Verizon and Cellular One.
His background includes international experience as a member of the Board of directors of telecom operators in Aruba, British Virgin Islands, Jordan,
Lithuania, Pakistan and Russia.
Bill holds a BBA from Iona College and an MBA from Manhattan College.
